Asa described her mother as a kind and loving woman whose presence meant everything to her.
“You were generous. The kindest soul. You had your own quiet swag, you were extremely shy, and so funny. My biggest fan.”
She also recalled how her mother supported her music career in her own unique way.
“You couldn’t hold a note to save your life, but you sang every one of my songs with your whole heart.”
Concluding her tribute, the singer expressed the lasting impact of her mother’s love and strength in her life.
“Your strength, your love, your spirit will remain with me forever. Rest now, Mum.”
