The alleged marriage scam case involving Nollywood actress, Hadiza Gabon has been postponed.
Khadi Rilwanu Kyaudai, judge of a Shariah Court sitting at Magajin Gari, Kaduna, adjourned the case involving the popular actress who was accused of defrauding one Bala Musa whom she allegedly promised marriage.
The case was adjourned to August 1, 2022, following the health condition of the judge’s wife.
Musa, a civil servant, dragged the actress to court, claiming she refused to marry him after spending N396,000 on her.
The actress denied having any relationship with him during the last sitting on 14 June, 2022.
Daily Trust gathered that all parties in the case, including the actress, were at the court on Tuesday, when the judge announced that he just received a news that one of his wives had been hospitalised in Zaria.
The judge said he could not continue with the case because he was not in the right frame of mind.
He then asked the parties to bear with him and pick a new date for the hearing.
