A recent photo emanating from an unidentified Redeem Church is causing furor online

In recent times, there has been a clamour against payment of tithes by Christians with many pointing to the fact that it is not expressly written in the bible that one must pay tithes to move forward in life.

One person who has been at the forefront of this is popular on air personality Freeze. He regularly shares sermons on the topic with his followers on social media.

He has even called out the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor E.A Adeboye for his comments on the topic.

Now, Nigerians have taken to social media to react to a screenshot that has gone viral showing how much a certain group of individuals who are called ‘covenant partners’ pay to the church’s coffers. Surprisingly, these monies are paid in British pounds and according to the photos; they are to pay either via cheques or standing orders. See the photo and reactions below:
