On Saturday, April 6, 2019, Yemi Alade turned up in ‘African Style’ with her mellifluous voice in Mayotte, an overseas department of the French Republic. The island is an archipelago of the Indian Ocean located between Madagascar and the coast of Mozambique.
The praised performer and her Ova Sabi band filled up the venue which was the Hotel Trevani, as thousands of fans trooped into the experience electric live renditions of songs off her rich discography.
