The woman who previously accused Davido’s official DJ, DJ Ecool, of sexual assault on X, has now withdrawn her statement, saying she is unable to verify the claims she made.
In a follow-up post, she announced that she had taken down her earlier publication and no longer stands by the allegation.
She wrote:
“Dear Twitter, I wish to retract the statement I made earlier today regarding an alleged sexual assault. I am not in a position to verify the accuracy of the allegations, and I do not wish to contribute to the spread of unverified information. In fairness and respect to all parties involved, I have removed the post and withdraw the statement in its entirety.”
