Woman charged with attempted mu.rder after shooting at Rihanna’s home

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, the woman accused of firing shots at Rihanna’s Los Angeles home, has been charged with attempted mu.rder

According to authorities, Ortiz, 35, allegedly used an AR‑15–style rifle to fire multiple rounds at the singer’s Beverly Hills residence. She is currently in custody, with bail set at $10.2 million.

Police say Ortiz fled the scene immediately after the shooting, prompting a brief manhunt. She was apprehended roughly 30 minutes later at the Sherman Oaks Galleria shopping center, about eight miles from Rihanna’s home. Law enforcement tracked her Tesla with the assistance of an LAPD helicopter before she was safely detained, and the weapon used in the attack was recovered.

Authorities are reviewing Ortiz’s social media accounts, which reportedly contain erratic posts directed at Rihanna and other celebrities. No official motive has been confirmed.

Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, were reportedly at home during the incident with their three children, and none were harmed. Investigations into the shooting remain ongoing.
