Skales readdressed his relationship with fellow artist Wizkid during a heated discussion on X.
While promoting his upcoming album, ‘Martina’s Son,’ Skales mentioned that despite helping many people who later betrayed him, he continues to be blessed.
In response, an X user accused Skales of betraying Wizkid by befriending his rivals to spite him. The user claimed, “You switched on Wiz too, became friends with his enemies… Forever an underdog.”
Skales clarified that he never betrayed Wizkid, explaining that they were never close friends, even when they worked together at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). “I never ever switched on him… he doesn’t like me… we were never close friends either but EME members… so rest,” Skales stated.
