Veteran media mogul Mo Abudu, has revealed why she walked away from a secure career in the oil and gas sector at 40 to chase her dream in media
At a recent conference on career growth and personal development, Abudu described the move as a calling she could not ignore.
Prior to her media journey, Abudu held senior positions in human resources and training at ExxonMobil, excelling in her roles.
Despite the prestige and stability, she felt driven to step beyond her comfort zone and pursue a path that would allow her to make a larger impact.
“I left my stable 9‑to‑5 oil and gas job at 40 to follow mine. It was a really nice job and there was no reason to leave, but I knew God wanted me to do something else,” she shared.
