Actress, Beverly Osu has opened up about her preference for dating older men. She explained that her attraction to older partners stems more from her upbringing than from any personal issues.

During a conversation on the WithChude podcast hosted by Chude Jideonwo, Beverly shared that growing up surrounded by confident males influenced her relationship choices.

“I’ve always dated men much older than me. People might wonder if it’s because of daddy issues, but I don’t see it that way. I’ve moved past all of that,” she said. “I grew up among boys, and every man around me carries himself with confidence. To be with me, you have to match that energy — you have to be bold enough to stand alongside my brothers who have strong personalities.”

Beverly also reflected on her experience in the Big Brother Africa house, particularly the controversy surrounding her relationship with fellow contestant Angelo. She admitted that she was genuinely in love at the time, and her ease around him was often misinterpreted.

“I was truly in love with Angelo and felt extremely comfortable with him, which led to a lot of rumors,” she explained.

However, she emphasized that contrary to public assumptions, nothing inappropriate occurred during the show.

“There are people who love and accept me as I am. The important thing is that I know I didn’t cross any lines. I was just 20 years old then and achieved a lot through Big Brother beyond the relationship drama,” Beverly added.
