“We are not mates” – Taiwo Hassan tells Dele Odule

Actor Taiwo Hassan recently got people talking after sharing a playful comment about fellow Nollywood actor Dele Odule during a visit to his film village

Speaking humorously but firmly, Ogogo stated that although many people assume he and Dele Odule are age mates, he is actually older by 23 days.

According to him, he has always regarded Yinka Quadri as his elder brother, while insisting that Dele Odule should equally acknowledge him as a senior colleague.

In his words, “l am never Dele Odule mate in everything, l recognise Yinka Quadri as my Elder brother and l senior Dele Odule with solid 23 days but he has always refused acknowledging that fact and is compulsory he respects and call me his senior brother because if he doesn’t his younger ones too will not respect him.”

The statement, delivered in a playful atmosphere, immediately sparked laughter and reactions among those present at the gathering.

Fans have since joined the conversation online, with many amused by the friendly seniority rivalry between the two Yoruba  movie veterans.
