Nigerian dance hall music sensation, Ketchup premieres the long awaited footage of his popular joint, “Olingo”.
‘Olingo’ is a mixture of afrobeat and dancehall vibes taken off the singers forthcoming album, “The First Coming”.
The track produced by Orbeat is a blend of Caribbean and African pidgin. Speaking about the track, Ketchup noted that, “some people might think of Olingo on a deeper level because they don’t understand the lyrics or the song”.
He added that “Olingo means different things to different people.” In South Africa, Olingo connotes ‘Temptation’ but in Igbo language, it means ‘to jolly and have a good time’.”
