2Face Idibia alongside some other musicians has been commended by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their roles in the upcoming general election.
According to the electoral commission, the upcoming elections will be for the youths who constitute 81 percent of registered voters.
The Commissions chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu said this during an election summit for youths in Abuja on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.
During the summit, popular musicians were awarded for their role in the mobilization of youths to register for their Personal Voters Card which would allow them vote in the coming elections.
Among those honoured at the event was Innocent Idibia (Tuface) and Ambassador Ketil Karlson, Head of European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS.
