Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has come hard on Nollywood, revealing that there are lots of crappy actors, actresses and directors in the industry.
Edochie, in two tweets on Sunday said the qualities of home videos had dropped so much, as lots of crappy actors, actresses and directors had taken over the industry.
According to him, there was no way the industry could continue in this way, while calling on seasoned practitioners to come together to revive Nollywood again.
He, however, said there were still dedicated executive producers, directors and actors and others in the industry doing great things.
He wrote: “The quality of our home videos has dropped so much. Lots of crappy actors/actresses, crappy directors.
We can’t continue like this.
“To all seasoned Nollywood practitioners, please, let’s revive it. People love our content all over the world. We just need to step up the quality.
“Don’t get me wrong my people. We have many dedicated Executive producers, producers, directors, actors and other crew members who are doing great jobs.
“At the same time we have some who are messing up our efforts with their ‘shoot it like that’ attitude.
It has to stop.”
