Nigeria’s Super Falcons maintained 36th position in the latest FIFA women’s ranking released by the Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, this morning
Justine Madugu’s side were unmoved in the ranking despite winning a record-extending 10th title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco last month.
The Super Falcons, however, maintained top position in Africa ahead of Banyana Banyana of South Africa, Atlas Lionesses of Morocco, Copper Queens of Zambia, and Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon.
Spain reclaimed top position in the ranking after finishing second at the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.
The United States of America dropped to second position, while Sweden stayed in third position.
The next FIFA Women’s World Ranking will be released on December 11, 2025.
