Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi, has agreed to join Portuguese giants FC Porto on loan for the remainder of the season.
.
According to L’Équipe, the Nigerian striker arrived in Portugal on Thursday afternoon after an agreement in principle, with an €8m option to buy and a 10% sell-on clause to join Porto.
Moffi’s move follows a turbulent spell at French club OGC Nice, where he was physically attacked by supporters after the team’s defeat to Lorient. His teammate, Jeremie Boga was caught in the same situation, and both have been on leave since 1 December.
Moffi attracted attention across Europe, with Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas also reportedly interested. However, the club failed to act quickly enough, allowing Porto to move decisively.
