Super Eagles manager, Rohr owed eight months salaries… Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr is owed eight months salaries by the Nigeria Football Federation, Punch Sports Extra reports. The Franco-German, who helped qualify the Eagles for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, was last paid in February by his employers. Rohr, who is reportedly paid $45,000 as monthly salary, pays the team’s video analyst, chief scout as well as the fitness and goalkeeper trainers from his wages, it was learnt. Punch correspondent also gathered that Rohr’s delayed salaries would be paid in naira as stipulated in the new two-year contract extension he signed in 2020. It was also learnt that Rohr’s backroom staffs (the team’s video analyst, chief scout as well as fitness and goalkeeper trainers) were yet to receive their bonuses for the win against Cape Verde – a delay which the Franco-German is unhappy about.
