Afrobeats singer Lyta, has cautioned his fans that he may stop releasing new music if they don’t support his existing songs.
The former YBNL signee expressed frustration over the lack of patronage from music fans, claiming that he’s struggling financially.
During an Instagram live session, Lyta pled with his fans to stream his music, stating that he needs the financial support to continue producing quality content.
He humorously added that he wants to gain weight and “enjoy” their money, showcasing his desperation.
Lyta rose to fame in 2018 under YBNL Nation but left the label in 2019 after a disagreement with Olamide. Despite previous attempts to reconcile, Lyta remains an independent artist, relying on his fans’ support to sustain his music career.
He said: “I can do more good music. But if you don’t stream my music, I won’t drop another one. I’m in need of money.
“Look at how I’m looking [slim]. I want to gain weight. Let me enjoy your money a little. If you stream my music, I will add weight.”
