Spotify Set To Launch In Nigeria, Burna Boy Joins Campaign

Music streaming platform, Spotify is set to launch in Nigeria and Burna Boy has lent his voice to the online campaign.

A post from the organization’s social media page on the 22nd of February 2021 disclosed that Spotify is set to launch in over 80 new markets over the next few days. These markets include Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh and many more. The post;

“We launch in 80+ new markets over the next few days. See you soon Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nigeria 👀 #SpotifyStreamOn”

Also, Spotify employed the services of African Giant, Burna Boy as they begin an online campaign to sensitize the new markets about their coming. In a video clip uploaded on Spotify’s official Twitter page on the 22nd of February, Burna Boy disclosed he was excited to announce that Spotify would soon launch in Nigeria and some selected countries in Africa. The post;
