Nigerian DJ, DJ Kaywise has opened up about a personal shift in how he views his music career and the songs he has supported over the years.
He admitted that, with more reflection, he now feels differently about some of the tracks he once promoted. According to him;
“Some songs I promoted don’t reflect who I truly am”, as he begins to reassess his past choices.
The DJ explained that there were times he pushed records without fully understanding the meaning or message behind the lyrics. Now, he says he is being more intentional about what he associates with.
He further revealed that he is in the process of what he called “cleaning” his catalog, focusing only on music that aligns with his current values and beliefs.
Looking ahead, he emphasized that he wants to be more deliberate in his selections, adding that “Clarity and alignment now guide me” as he moves forward in his career.
