Global music star Shakira has sparked conversations online after sharing her honest thoughts about single motherhood, relationships, and the value of friendship.
The global music star revealed that although raising children alone comes with challenges, she has found peace and personal growth outside marriage.
According to her, life without a husband sometimes feels lighter and less restrictive.
“I am a single mother; I don’t have any man to help me out in anything. It’s kinda good not to have a husband; I feel like it was dragging me down,” she said.
Shakira also reflected on the future, saying she may not grow old beside a romantic partner, but she believes genuine friendships will remain constant throughout her life.
“I might not grow old with a partner, but I will grow old surrounded by good friends. Friendships last longer than love. I love love, but I think I even love friendship a little more.”
