Rumour has it that Adele’s new boyfriend is US hip hop producer Jonathan Hay not Skepta

Move over Skepta, could Adele have found another hitmaker to make sweet music with?

Friends say they think the 15x Grammy winner has been spending quality time with famed American hip-hop producer Jonathan Hay.

It is thought the pair randomly met this year at Quad Recording ­Studios in New York.

Jonathan was busy recording his No1 jazz album, Follow the Leader, with Mike Smith and Benny Reid. Adele, 31, had been working on new music at Quad following her shock split from husband Simon Konecki.

Jonathan, 45, later gushed about meeting “the love of his life” – with “a heavy British accent” at the studios. Sound familiar?

In the online interview, he said: “I unexpectedly met the love of my life when I got off the elevator at the legendary Quad Studios – the same elevator that Tupac Shakur was shot in.

“It was an immediate and galvanising connection with her right in the heart of Times Square.

“With a heavy British accent I was hanging on her every word and drawn into her every movement. I’ve been relentlessly courting her since.

“It’s been magic. We also signed a record deal with Fat Beats [Billie Elish, Mary J Blige] and a major licensing agreement for our music. None of this happens if I didn’t meet and fall in love with this girl from London.”

Fans are also convinced the girl in question is Adele with one saying: “Please! OBVIOUSLY Adele.”
