The label disclosed that the singer has been dealing with the fallout from a lawsuit allegedly filed by an ex-girlfriend, who is seeking damages over claims of emotional distress. Addressing concerns from fans over Ruger’s recent silence, BlownBoy Entertainment said the ongoing dispute has affected the artist’s activities in recent months.
“Personal challenges after someone he dated decided to sue him for alleged emotional distress and damages…” the label said in a statement. While no further details about the case were provided, the label suggested that the issue has contributed to the delay in the singer’s new releases.
