Rema has been unveiled as part of the star-studded lineup set to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States.
The singer will share the stage at the Los Angeles Stadium with several international music heavyweights, including Tyla, Future, Katy Perry, Anitta and LISA.
FIFA confirmed the development in a statement shared on its official social media page on Saturday.
According to FIFA, the 2026 World Cup will feature three separate opening ceremonies across the host nations, with the United States event scheduled for June 12, 2026, in Los Angeles. Mexico City will host its ceremony on June 11, while Toronto, Canada, will also stage celebrations on June 12.
FIFA stated that the events would blend football, music and entertainment as part of what it described as a historic summer across North America.
