Media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has weighed in on singer Rema’s recent N105 million donation to his church.
Rema’s generous contribution during a Thanksgiving service at Christ Embassy with his family sparked widespread reactions. Known for his frequent criticism of pastors, Daddy Freeze took a different stance this time, suggesting that Rema should have given even more to the church.
Daddy Freeze pointed out that Rema’s donation went to a church that had invested in him during a difficult time. Rema had previously shared that after his father passed away when he was just eight years old, the church set up a shop for his mother, which helped them survive a challenging period.
In his response, Daddy Freeze wrote:
“So unlike you going to sow your seed in church, Rema is taking part of his ‘Harvest’ to those who sowed their seed in him. As far as I’m concerned he should even give them more. God bless the pastor that sowed into his family.”
