Rema receives a certificate of recognition from the Boston mayor for his global impact and contribution to spreading African culture through music.

The mayor praised Rema’s ability to bring joy and inspire people worldwide while maintaining African roots.

The certificate honors Rema for championing Afrobeat and promoting African identity and creativity globally.

The award writing reads:
