Mavin artiste, Reekado Banks has been arrested by the Nigerian police for not keeping to his part of a bargain made to perform for a client’s wedding in Benin City even after receiving the sum of two million naira.
According to reports, the singer was contracted by an OAP and comedian, Uwa Idahosa, on behalf of the couple. The comedian is presently demanding a refund of the paid two million naira since no performance was made by Reekado Banks.
This request is what has landed Reekado Banks in the clutches of the Nigerian Police in Ogba Area Command, Lagos as he refuses to refund the full sum, rather agreeing to pay eight hundred thousand naira which was stated through his manager, Temi, stating that the remaining sum is for logistic cost occurred.
Uwa Idahosa and relatives of the couple are presently at the police station demanding their full payment from Reekado Banks and his manager, Temi who is also there.
