
Ghanaian international and Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey, has been granted conditional bail after appearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, to face serious s3xual offence charges.
Partey, who was charged on July 5 with five counts of r3pe and one count of s3xual assault, appeared in court dressed in a black zip-neck jumper and holding a navy blazer. While standing in the dock with his arms behind his back, the court heard details of the allegations during a preliminary hearing.
The charges relate to incidents that allegedly occurred between 2021 and 2022 and involve three different women. According to the Metropolitan Police, two of the r3pe charges involve one woman, another three are linked to a second woman, while the sexual assault charge involves a third.
After legal arguments, the judge approved bail with specific conditions attached. Further court proceedings are expected as the case continues.
