Singer, Qing Madi has spoken out in a new video addressing her former record label, JTON Music, where she detailed allegations of maltreatment, financial disputes, and legal battles following her exit from the label.
The singer, who gained prominence as a teenager, claimed she faced several challenges after signing to the label at just 16 years old, including attempts to block her career progress and issues surrounding her music releases.
In her words, she accused the label of interfering with her tour plans, financial dealings, and even taking down her music from streaming platforms.
“I signed to a record label when I was 16, I’m going on tour & you told the sponsors I’m not going on tour, I’ll bring back the records they took down, if anything happens it’s the label & I’ve left the label successfully, they even stole my money & are tarnishing my image, I appreciate my fans cuz without promo I’ve gotten millions of streams, this same label ruin another female artiste”
She further alleged deeper issues within the contract dispute, including claims of forgery and legal action, stating:
“She stole from me, did a bunch of weird things like forging my signature. She sued me for $2M & she lost the case. She took down ‘Pepper Me’, I worked with my team to prove it’s an illegal takedown. They went through the corners again to take down the project”
