Portable has reacted to an invitation from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations linked to naira spraying at his naming ceremony
In a video shared on his social media, the controversial artiste expressed anger over the summons, insisting he was only spending his own money and had done nothing wrong.
He explained that the incident in question happened during his child’s naming ceremony, where he reportedly brought out cash in celebration.
“Cause say I pack money for hand for my child naming ceremony, una come dey invite me, for what?” he said.
“If anything happens to me, there will be protest. I no join bandit but because say I spend money una dey invite me,” he continued.
“Cubana Chief Priest dey spray money but dey wan arrest me. Tinubu come to my help ooo… Na only music I dey use earn my money,” he added.
