Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been named Barclays Manager of the Month for February, earning the award for the first time since December 2021 and the 12th time in his career
Guardiola guided City to a league-best 13 points in February, including wins over Liverpool, Fulham, Newcastle United, and Leeds United, following an opening draw with Tottenham Hotspur. The strong run reinforced City’s challenge at the top of the Premier League table.
He beat a competitive shortlist featuring Brentford’s Keith Andrews, Manchester United’s Michael Carrick, and Liverpool’s Arne Slot to claim the honor.
The award takes Guardiola to third place on the all-time Manager of the Month list, surpassing David Moyes and only behind Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.
