Osimhen racially abused in Napoli victory… Super Eagles striker, Victor, Osimhen was racially abused by Fiorentina fans after Napoli’s 2-1 win in the Italian Serie A on Sunday – their seventh consecutive league win of the campaign. According to reports, the Nigerian striker along with Senegal defender, Kalidou Koulibaly and Cameroon’s Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa were racially abused by fans of the host team. DAZN have reported that the midfielder and Osimhen were racially abused after Napoli won 2-1 at the Artemio Franchi and they responded to that by smiling. As for Koulibaly, the defender was abused after the post-game interview and he was even called a ‘monkey’ Koulibaly heard it and looked at the culprit to ask if he really said that. When he went back to the dressing room, some fans targetted the defender with howls. This comes some weeks after AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan had become a victim of racist abuse after Milan’s game against Juventus. The Nigerian has however condemned the act by the fans advising parents to speak to their kids. “Speak to your kids, your parents make them understand how disgusting it is to hate an individual because of the color of their skin #NOTORACISM,” Osimhen tweeted.
