In a post on social media the organizers of one of the most prestigious award ceremony in the world of football, Ballon d’Or has confirmed the official date and venue for the event in 2022.
The official confirmation which was done today, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, it was announced that the official date of the event would be on October 17, 2022, at the Théâtre Musical de Paris in France. Although the shortlist of nominees has not been announced for the awards, it has been indicated that the shortlist would be officially announced on the 12th of August 2022.
The award ceremony which was held earlier this year (2022) saw Lionel Messi pick up his seventh award and also become the player with the highest number of Ballon d’Or awards.
