Nigerian music star Omah Lay has shared a personal insight into his spiritual journey, opening up about the books that have shaped his thinking over time.
Speaking candidly, the singer revealed that while he has spent time reading the Qur’an and appreciated the experience, he finds a deeper personal connection with the Bible.
“I’ve enjoyed reading the Qur’an, but I relate more to the Bible,” he said.
The “Soso” crooner didn’t dismiss the value of either text, but rather framed his preference as something rooted in personal understanding and emotional connection.
According to him, both books have had an impact on him, but the Bible resonates more with his life experiences and perspective.
He went on to describe both texts as his two favourite books, highlighting how they have influenced his worldview in different ways.
