Offset wants my property – Cardi B on why she’s not divorced

American rapper Cardi B has spoken candidly about her strained marriage with Offset, alleging that he has made financial demands as a condition for their divorce

In a leaked audio clip heard on social media, the Grammy-winning artist — who is pregnant with her fourth child, her first with NFL player Stefon Diggs — claimed that Offset wants her to settle his taxes and hand over one of her properties.

“The only reason I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes and give him one of my properties,” she said.

Cardi B and Offset, who married in 2017, have had a rocky relationship over the years.

She filed for divorce in July 2024, marking their second public split after a brief divorce attempt in 2020 that she later withdrew.
