Niniola pays tribute to late husband at Service of Songs

Niniola has paid tribute to her late husband, Michael during his Service of Songs held on Thursday.

Speaking at the event, the singer described him as a deeply supportive partner who played a central role in her life and career. She said he was devoted to her happiness and credited him with helping her become the person she is today.

Niniola recalled how their relationship began, noting that he once made a promise to elevate her to stardom — a promise she believes he fulfilled through his encouragement and support.

She went on to describe him as her “engine,” explaining how closely bonded they were in daily life and routine, adding that he was always by her side from morning until night.

“Michael did everything for me. He was breathing for me. He loved me so much. I learnt so much from him. When he met me, he said, “I will make you a superstar.” Michael was my engine. He was the first person I saw in the morning and the last person at night.”
