Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu has made history by becoming the first African player to score 20 league goals across Europe’s top leagues this season.
The Super Eagles forward achieved this feat after scoring a brace in Trabzonspor’s 3–1 victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Süper Lig on Tuesday, March 2026 as ontinuing his outstanding run of form.
Onuachu has been one of the most lethal finishers in European football this campaign. This has tskrþis latest goals took his tally to 20 league goals and two assists in just 21 appearances, making him the current top scorer in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Onuachu’s remarkable consistency has also seen him score in nine consecutive league matches, underlining his importance to Trabzonspor’s attacking play. His goals have played a key role in keeping the club competitive in the race for European qualification this season.
