Afrobeats superstar, Reekado Banks has revealed how his music was inspired by his senior colleague, Wande Coal.
In a recent interview with Bolanle Austen-Peters of Terra Kulture, Reekado banks opened up about his musical journey. According to Reekado, Wande Coal was the first artist he fell in love with his sound and gradually got inspired to drop hot songs. “One of the first persons I really fell in love with his music was Wande Coal. I got creative with that sound, I really liked what he was up to, and is I really wanted to feel more of that. Still speaking on his inspirations, Reekado Bank also disclosed he was inspired by afrobeats legends like Salif Keita, Fela and, Ebenezer Obey who he would love to work with. Reekado banks stated that his music connects with reality and this fact has always encouraged him to drop amazing songs. Watch Video below
