Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Shank Comic has shared his views on love and infidelity, stating that a man can genuinely love his partner and still be unfaithful.
During a recent interview, the entertainer argued that a man can remain deeply attached to his partner even while being unfaithful. According to him, cheating does not always indicate the absence of love in a relationship.
Asked if a man who truly loves his partner could still cheat, Shank Comic responded without hesitation, saying he believes it happens frequently.
“**Yes, ma’am. It’s just the way it goes,**” he said when asked whether men can be in love and still be unfaithful.
The comedian suggested that many men are capable of separating their feelings from their actions, maintaining affection for their partners while pursuing relationships outside their commitments.
“**I feel like men can multitask. They can love you and still cheat on you,**” he said.
He further stated that acts of infidelity are not always carried out with the intention of causing emotional harm, although he acknowledged that partners often end up hurt when trust is broken.
“**I think they love you enough not to… I don’t think the cheating is trying to hurt you, you get me? But you getting hurt in the process is…**” he said.
As the conversation continued, Shank Comic admitted that his explanation was becoming difficult to defend, laughing at how controversial his argument sounded.
“The more I try to explain this, the more I’m sounding fully like…” he said before trailing off.But yeah, the truth is that men can love you and still like cheating,” he said
Despite that, he stood by his opinion, insisting that love and unfaithfulness are not always mutually exclusive in the minds of some men.
