Mason Greenwood released on bail after arrest on suspicion of r*pe and assault

Mason Greenwood has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of rape and assault. The Manchester United forward will be subject to further investigation. Greater Manchester Police said: “A 20-year-old man arrested (on Sunday 30 January 2022) on suspicion of the rape and assault of a woman has been released on bail pending further investigation. ” The 20-year-old was arrested on Sunday afternoon after serious allegations were made by a woman. On Tuesday it was announced Greenwood was under further arrest on suspicion of threats to kill and s3xual assault. GMP has confirmed the victim is being offered specialist support.
