Manuel Neuer retires from international football

German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has announced his retirement from international football, bringing an end to a illustrious 15-year career with the national team.

The 38-year-old Bayern Munich star made the decision to focus on his club career, leaving behind a legacy of 124 appearances and numerous accolades.

This including the 2014 World Cup title and the Golden Glove award as the tournament’s best goalkeeper.
