Former Liverpool player, Luis Suarez is set to return to the English Premier League ahead of the 2022/23 football season.
The Uruguayan is currently a free agent after La Liga side, Atletico Madrid decided to release am at the end of this last season. Daily Mailconfirmed on its website on Friday, May 27th, 2022 that Aston Villa might be the next stop for Suarez.
Aston Villa’s manager, Steven Gerrard is looking to build his team next season and his former teammate seems to be one of the players that might be heading to Villa. Gerrard and Suarez enjoyed the best of football when the pair when at Liverpool.
Suarez will be playing alongside another former Liverpool player, Luiz Suarez who completed his permanent move to the Midlands. He scored 69 Premier League goals during his four-and-a-half years at Liverpool before moving to Barcelona in 2014.
