Living in Lagos more expensive than US – BNXN

BNXN has explained why he chose to relocate to the United States, saying he finds life there more comfortable than in Lagos

Speaking during a TikTok livestream, the singer compared his experiences in the US and Lagos, arguing that everyday living in Nigeria’s commercial capital can be more expensive than in cities like Los Angeles.

BNXN noted that one of the major differences he has observed is the level of security and the absence of constant demands for money from strangers.

According to him, since moving to the US, he has not encountered situations where people approach him on the streets asking for financial assistance, a situation he said is common in Lagos.

“I was telling someone, since I got to the United States, nobody has asked me to give them money. And people are also suffering here. Lagos is super expensive. It is more expensive than Los Angeles. Aside from housing, every other thing in LA is not expensive. For instance, I am paying $12,000 monthly for my rent. Here you just pay your rent, and you’re good,” he stated.
