American singer, Jason Derulo recently opened up about a terrifying experience he had in 2013.
As he was preparing for his world tour, he suffered a severe neck injury during a gym session, which forced him to cancel the tour.
In an episode of Paris Hilton’s podcast, Derulo shared the fear he felt when he thought his career might be over. He recalled the incident,
saying, “I broke my neck in 2013 while rehearsing with a trainer. We were working on endurance, and I attempted back-to-back back tucks.
“Unfortunately, I slipped and landed on my head, breaking my C-2 vertebrae.”, he said.
Jason Derulo described the moment as hearing a loud crack and fearing it might be the end.
His recovery process took seven months, a testament to the severity of the injury.
Despite the setback, Derulo has made a remarkable comeback, sharing his story to inspire others.
