Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has alleged that the Africa tour of popular streamer IShowSpeed was not what it seemed, claiming it was secretly linked to tech billionaire Elon Musk
Speaking during a recent discussion, Seun Kuti suggested that the widely publicised tour across several African countries had an underlying motive beyond entertainment.
“Elon Musk was the one that sponsored that whole thing… All that was a spy job,” he said.
His comments come months after IShowSpeed completed a high-profile tour of over 20 African countries, which drew massive online attention and millions of viewers globally.
While the streamer had previously explained that the trip was aimed at showcasing African culture and everyday life to a global audience, Seun Kuti’s claims have introduced a different narrative, sparking debates online about the intent behind the tour.
