I’m still madly in love with Wizkid – Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage has spoken about her lingering feelings for her former partner and music collaborator, Wizkid, admitting that performing alongside him remains an emotional experience.

In a video currently making the rounds on social media, the award-winning songstress revealed that being on stage with Wizkid brings back intense memories from their past, making it difficult for her to conceal her emotions.

Tiwa Savage recalled their reunion at the Great Lagos Countdown 2025, a popular annual music event held in Lagos, where they performed together after several years.

She explained that despite the challenges that once defined their relationship, the happy moments they shared remain deeply etched in her memory.

Speaking openly, Tiwa admitted that she is still in love with the singer and described performing with him as “uncomfortable” because of the emotions it brings.

She said, “It’s uncomfortable performing with Wizkid on stage. I admit I’m still in love with him. When we reunited at Great Lagos Countdown 2025, my heart beat just as it did six years ago. Every time Wizkid gets close, I can’t control my smile.

He gave me so many beautiful memories that I almost forgot how bad our relationship once was. If I could choose one man in this lifetime, it would only be Wizkid.
