Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has stirred reactions online after making a strong statement about fatherhood amid fresh speculation surrounding his marriage.
“As a father, if I’m ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone/anything else…I’M PICKING MY KIDS. PERIOD!!!” he wrote, a declaration many see as pointed given recent developments.
The comment comes on the heels of reports alleging that his wife, actress Rosy Meurer, has filed for a dissolution of their marriage. According to the claims, the filing was made on Monday, April 20, although neither party has publicly confirmed the development.
Fueling the rumors further, observant fans noticed that Churchill and Meurer have unfollowed each other on Instagram, a move often interpreted as a sign of tension between high-profile couples.
Churchill and Meurer got married in 2021 and share two children together. Their relationship had previously attracted public scrutiny, particularly because it followed Churchill’s highly publicized split from actress Tonto Dikeh.
Dikeh, who was married to Churchill from 2015 to 2017, had accused Meurer of being involved with her then-husband during their marriage an allegation that generated widespread controversy at the time.
As speculation continues to grow, neither Churchill nor Meurer has issued an official statement addressing the reported separation.
