Phyna has spoken about how she sometimes wishes she were a man, pointing to what she describes as the pressure and stigma women face in society
She made the comment during a discussion on her podcast about how gender roles influence ambition, success, and public expectations.
According to her, men are often given a clearer and less complicated route in life, with society mainly expecting them to work, succeed financially, and provide stability.
She contrasted this with women, saying they are frequently judged more harshly and placed under multiple restrictions that can limit their choices and aspirations.
Phyna added that these expectations and unwritten rules can make it harder for women to freely pursue big goals or step outside traditional roles.
“I low-key wish I were a man. I feel it’s much easier for guys, but, did girls, we’ve been stigmatised, and there are so many rules and regulations covering us”, she said.
