Nigerian entertainer and social commentator Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charlie Boy, has shared reflective comments about his life, upbringing, and personal regrets in a recent statement that has drawn public attention.
Speaking candidly about his past and experiences, he said:
“I got spoilt right from my mother’s womb. I had my first child at 16. My first son is almost 53 years old.
I was defr@uding banks long before sc@m became popular. My father dam@ged me with religion right from my childhood. I don’t want to be the oga anymore because I’m old and tired, I want the kind of woman I will submit to.”
In the statement, Charlie Boy painted a picture of a life marked by early responsibility, rebellion, and complicated family influences, while also expressing exhaustion with long-held authority and a desire for emotional surrender in later years.
He suggested that his upbringing and relationship with his father shaped much of his worldview, especially around religion and authority, adding a deeply personal tone to his reflections.
The entertainer, known for his outspoken nature and unconventional lifestyle, also hinted at wanting a shift from dominance to vulnerability in his personal relationships as he grows older.
