
Kizz Daniel has said he still lives like a poor man despite his fame and success
This comment was made after Kizz Daniel roused a conversation online by making a post saying that money does not bring happiness.
He spoke on the relationship between wealth and happiness, and why joy seems to fade once money arrives.
“Why when money comes, happiness dey always comot?” He asked. Kizz Daniel further added that many wealthy individuals live in sadness irrespective of their riches.
He then went on to advise his followers to look past the fake love and online representation of happiness.
One of Kizz Daniel’s followers then reacted to the post with a question directed at the singer: “So, in other words, you are saying money doesn’t bring happiness?? But you’re chasing it every blessed day.”
Kizz Daniel responded that he still lives like a poor man despite his succesful status in Nigeria.
He responded “Lol … I still live like a poor man every day. Na money dey chase me instead.” He went on to explain that he is not discouraging hustle, he is just warning that wealth mostly comes with its own challenges.
He said, “Guys, I’m not saying don’t chase money, I’m just saying with money comes problems. People wey get am no go tell una the truth cuz they want to feel superior.”
