Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare has shared her thoughts on what she described as growing narratives around women competing for romantic partners, urging a shift in focus toward self-development and dignity
She questioned the claims being shared online, expressing disbelief at the idea of women engaging in conflicts over men and calling for a change in attitude.
Chastising them, the actress who also runs a show on youtube wrote;
“is it true? I heard some women have started fighting over men? Kilode? As in what happened to them?
”We have enough men, pls my gender respect urself and stop fighting over men, go and work on yourself, take real good care of yourself, spend on yourself, the right man that will respect you will definitely come around, pls let’s stop disgracing ourselves as women”.
